A prestigious felicitation ceremony was organized jointly by JD Sports Foundation and Nagpur Mahanagar Boxing Association to honor Shri Arun Bute, Dr. Sambhaji Bhosale, and Shri Padmakar Charmode for their remarkable contributions to the sports arena of Nagpur. The ceremony took place at the National Institute of Swimming, Manewada-Besa Road, Nagpur. Shri Arun Bute, an international boxing coach newly appointed as a National Technical Officer (NTO) of the Boxing Federation of India, Dr. Sambhaji Bhosale, who was appointed as the Director of the Sports Department of Nagpur University, and Shri Padmakar Charmode, a member of the Khashdar Krida Mahotsav and elected as the President of BJP Krida Aagadhi, were honored for their outstanding work in the field of sports. The felicitation was conducted by Shri Dayashankar Tiwari, former Mayor and President of Nagpur City BJP, who presented them with shawls, Shriphal, and mementos. In his address, Shri Tiwari lauded Shri Arun Bute's lifestyle and contributions to boxing, stating it was a matter of pride for Nagpur city to have 1st National-level Technical Officer (NTO) of Boxing associated with the city. Prominent attendees on the occasion included Dronacharya Awardee Olympian Shri Vijay Munishwar, Shivchhatrapati Awardee Shri Girish Gadage, and Krida Maharshi Shri Hemant Dongaonkar. The event was conceptualized by Dr. Jaiprakash Duble, President of JD Sports Foundation. The guests were welcomed by Prof. Shyam Falke, Sports Officer Smt. Maya Duble, Shri Nitin Shende, and Prajakta Duble. The vote of thanks was proposed by Jayant Duble, Secretary of JD Sports Foundation and a Shivchhatrapati Awardee The ceremony witnessed significant attendance from swimmers of the National Institute of Swimming, players of Nagpur Mahanagar Boxing Association, and parents.

JD Sports Foundation and National Institute of Swimming jointly organized the National Sports Day at the swimming pool located on Manevada-Besa Road. On this occasion, athletes from various sports and swimmers who have excelled in swimming were felicitated. Shruti Gandhi Rathi from Nagpur, who won three medals in the Masters International Swimming Championship held in Dubai in April, was honored. Shri Akhil Mantri from Maharashtra Masters Swimming Association was also honored for successfully organizing a grand Master Swimming Competition in Nagpur. The event was attended by notable guests including Prof. Sham Phalke, Shri Arun Bute, Dr. Jaiprakash Duble, Director of National Institute of Swimming, Shri Nana Dasashathre, and Shri Mohan Barekar. International swimmer Shruti Gandhi Rathi appealed to the athletes and swimmers to balance sports and fitness alonwith studies and give at least one hour daily for fitness. Prof. Sham Falke highlighted the importance of sports by stating the lines- " Vyayam Vyayam hai, Anand ka naam hai, Shakti hai tan ki, Mann ka aaram hai". Shiv Chhatrapati Awardee and International Swimmer, Jayant Duble gave the slogan "Fitness Ka Dose - Adha Ghanta Roz" to all the athletes and citizens present. The event also included the felicitation of swimmers and athletes who have excelled in swimming with certificates. Dr. Jaiprakash Duble appealed to participate in the Sports Movement from August 29 to August 31, as called by the Ministry of Sports, Government of India. He also shared detailed information about the contributions of the late Major Dhyan Chand to hockey. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Aishwarya Duble.
